- 5 / 5By Robert TimmHaving visited this brewery twice now, and dozens of others in Texas, Lakewood is receiving the highest marks I can give for a brewery. The staff, selection of brews on tap, and the tour are among the best I've experienced. Some breweries prefer to keep customers out of the brew room, whether it be for liability purposes or contamination, not Lakewood. They will take you through their entire operation, showcasing their canning operation and legacy systems that they no longer use. There is a strong sense of history and pride with each staff member I've talked to. You can tell by how meticulously clean and well organized the operation is that this brewery is going to keep driving quality for years to come.
